I started crossfit in September last year and it's been one of best decision's of my life. I was always a sporty person during my life but before I started community fitness I had hardly done an ounce  of fitness for about 3-4 years, so to say I was unfit was a major understatement.

I knew I had to start to do some exercise and so I started to do some running but it never worked out, I always had a excuse not to. I then heard about community fitness, going to gym was the last thing in my mind as I have never been to one as I have always used some sort of sporting activity to keep me fit. I was very sceptical at first and even a little scared to go to a gym where everyone would probably be much fitter and stronger. I had heard a lot about crossfit before and in my head it sounded that you had to be a fit person to be apart of it. I left my apprehension's at the door and decided to try. I soon realized that I was so wrong in all my thinking about community fitness. All the people are like minded and have no judgement of where you stand in your stage of fitness, age or life. You become part of a family. It does not matter how fit or unfit you are, there is a place for you.

After being apart of this family for 7 or so months now I don't think I have felt this good in a long time. I feel so much stronger and healthier in all the aspects in my life. I have even entered myself into a crossfit competition. If someone told me 8 months ago I would be doing a crossfit competition now i would of laughed at them. It gives you the confidence to do more and to push yourself to do things you thought impossible
All I can say to someone who may be sitting on the fence and thinking community fitness may not be them, is just to try one class. You will not be disappointed. I would just like to thank Super M and the other coaches who have helped me get to where I am now, you are legends.
